25!!! You Kiddin Me..???

I really can't believe in less than next 30 hours I will turn 25. I still remember how I graduated from High School, when I was just 15. So it really becomes hard to take the fact that I have grown so big (physically)...

The last few days have been really crazy... have had a lot of good things and bad things to say.. some things like...

Yesterday one of my former Global Project Manager from Lisbon, Isa Torga, with whom I have shared a good relationship during and post Lionbridge days came online on msn chat. And it was nice talking to her. It was even more beautiful to know that she remembers my birthday :)

Today was an awful day.. I had a total network crash at work today. I have no reason what caused the network to crash but was a terrible one... I thought it could be the switch, so I got it replaced but still the problem continued. So I have called in an engineer to work on this.

At the same time I was called in for a training on designs and internet security on the 4th floor and a NLMET Meeting on the 5th floor. I almost felt like being kicked at like a football in a match. The guys on the 5th Floor wanted me to attend the meeting, guys on 4th Floor wanted me to attend the training, and the guys on the 2nd Floor wanted me to fix the network. And then I had my friend Vio who initially msged and called me continously to fix the machine and then she does crazy things like changes her relation status to 'in a relationship' with me to freak her friends out... I am not sure if she managed to freak her friends out but she did freak mine.

By 4 pm I came out of the training I was attending to be with Sneha and Ravi who had got Pizzas for me. So that was a nice time with them... relaxing and having my pizza with them.

Now its 6.21Pm and I am really exhausted and bout to leave home... but I am talking to Debbie and its so cool... :)

Did you find out why the network crashed? It can be really depressing, I know. I once managed a group of data encoders, and there was this one time when they were working on our most important project when our network suddenly crashed! Good thing there was a Houston network support specialist on standby, the problem got solved in just a few hours. However, my encoders were still not able to finish the project on time, and I got heavily reprimanded for it. Well, all is well now, and I can say that I learned from that incident. Let's be more careful next time.
