The Little Flower Girl

I was just on a date with this jewish girl from my work place the other day... wasnt really a date.. cos she is like my sister.. :p
well anyway I guess nothing wrong if you are going out for a movie with your sister.. ;) he he

So I was here with my friend for the movie... we were on our way in the rickshaw when we got stuck at the signal. And I saw this little girl selling roses.. she was so innocent and sweet... I just felt like buying those roses from her not realising what am I gonna do with it...
So I offered them to my friend... but she said she hated holding flowers.
So I called that girl back and gave the roses to her... and asked her to keep them.. I told her that it was a gift for her...
She was so delighted... was so sweet when she smiled back.. she was more than happy... and that smile just blessed me so much...

I realised that day... its not the money that these people long for... they just wished to be acknoledged.. they just want people to know that they existed...

It was one of the most beautiful day I had ever had... :)

Hope I continue to bring smiles on faces of people like this.

Best Valentines Day Ever...

This is about the valentines day I had with my band...
well it wasnt the band actually.. it was just me and the sound engineer.... my band was out dating with their dates...
Who would want to miss such a beautiful day with their love.. :p

Well so it was just myself and DJ (sound engineer) in the studio and I had finished my parts.. and wanted to do something.. so we came up with this song.. "Cool With You"

this was a really spontaneous song... This happened to come out better than some of the songs we have been rehearsing since ages... he he... my voice cracks a bit.. but who really cares.. we had a pretty good time...

was one of the most beautiful valentines day ever... just me and my guitar...

You can check out the song here: http://www.myspace.com/jesse1384

The night with Delirious?

Woah.. this was one of the most beautiful time in my life.
A night with UK's # 1 Christian Rock Band "Delirious?"
I have been waiting for this to happen ever since I first became their fan 5 years back.

The night was terriffic.
The evening began with a brillian band "Sounds of the nation" opening for them.
"Sounds of the nation" continued rocking the masses for a complete 1 hour, until "Delirious?" walked over the stage and continued the party.
Delirious? opened the night with the song "Here I am, send me" accompanied by some of the hits from the latest album "The Mission bell" like, "Solid Rock", "Now is the time" and more...

It was truly a delight and a previlage to be at the show... it was a wonderful evening.

Here are some of the pics we captured backstage with the band.

Rest is good sometimes.. :)

Today was a pretty cool day. I didnt have much work and to make my life better I got my guitar to work. So it was really cool.
We have a show on the 25th Jan at the "InterContinental" celebrating our company's 10th Anniversary. Yeah it survived for 10years with me working for it (for the last one year).
So as a sign of gratitude towards the company for take caring of my survival (putting its survival on risk) I am playing a Pink Floyd track 'Coming back to life' for them (guess that makes sense).

We had a good rehearse today.. well it was good cos we never worked on the song we are supposed to play for the show and were just jamming out...
But who cares.. it was fun today...

What is the point after all..?? you play music for fun.. bcos u love it.. bcos you want to enjoy life.. to get out of your busy schedule...
Im glad I did that.. today...

Well nothing much happening happened today... but whatever happened.. did happen...
yeah im not quite sure what was the last line about.. but I guess it does make sense...

KFC Rocks

Well this was Nov 29th 2006, Friday our last weekend of the year... our last dinner together..
Was kinda cool.. cos we were dieing to hog at the new KFC outlet opened near our work place in powai...
Yes abhinav we missed you bro.. very very much.. cos ur the real KFC freak.. and the KFC without you was truly incomplete..

Well... we never had our veggie guys (dev and Meeta, and 'hey monkey' with us.. so it was just the 4 of us.. Samy, Malcolm, Michelle (our dear kiddo), and myself...

So we are out here... and (since never before to KFC) took around 15minutes to decide the order...
and after working out on the volume and cost of the stuff.. we decided to go for a Chicken meal... which consisted of 1 CHicken burger, 1 CHicken fried leg, and a pepsi...

well that was for 100 bucks (plus the tax)
we enjoyed the meal very much... (obviously after shelling out 100 bucks who would not... :0 )

I should tell you.. somehow we found the pepsi at KFC more tastier (even though it was diluted) than our pepsi at work... but then yeah we figured it out.. at work its free and at KFC its worth (what it's not worth)..

We all seemed to be so engrosed with the meal... that we hardly had time to check out the hot chick on the next table..

well we finished the meal.. and got out to move.. when my friend Malcolm did something very embarassing to me...

well he dropped the tray too inside the thrash bin with the thrash.. said that was the custom in Mac Donalds.. (I have never been thru anything like that.. perhaps it happens only in India)

Well that wasnt such an emabrassing to him.. since he just walked over.. and left me to be embarassed.. when an other KFC satisfied customer asked me to pull the tray out.. and told me "Ask your friend not to put the tray inside the thrash..."

But overall the experience was great.. KFC does rock.. :)
