Hello Guys...
This was one of the most quested out query I found on most of the blogs - How to update the NOD32 Virus Definition manually? Its quite a valid question as it saves the time of download on each workstation and also doesn't choke up the bandwidth. And I have found the most easiest way of doing this job.
Just follow these simple steps:
1. Go to C:\Program Files\ESET\updfiles
2. Copy the entire files from here.
3. Dump it into the exact location in the new workstation where you want the definition to be updated.
I know it sounds crazy but surprisingly it works. Unlike Symantec or Norton AV the updates are not on a DAT file. Here it is on a .nup file.
So guys I hope this has helped you guys to solve your little update problem... ;)
